

Janina, Founder, Neurologic Music Therapist, MATADOC assessor, NICU-MT.
Janina is a London based Music Therapist from Co Cavan, Ireland. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick and also holds a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Music from The University of Maynooth.
Along with this, Janina holds Grade 8 certificates for Piano, Violin and Music Theory from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Across her years' of practice, Janina has also obtained qualifications in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT™), Music Therapy in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU-MT) and is also a trained assessor for the Music Therapy Assessment Tool for Disorders of Consciousness (MATADOC).
Janina specialises in Neurologic Music Therapy, and has a wealth of experience in working with both children and adults with complex neurologic conditions in healthcare, education and rehabilitation facilities. Janina guest lectures on the Music Therapy MA programme at The University of Limerick, Ireland, and has led research studies in NICU-MT in collaboration with Cavan General Hospital, Ireland.
Janina set up Connect Music Therapy in 2018 with a vision to make Music Therapy more widely recognised and increasingly available to the general public.
